The King of Diamonds -- Better Late Than Never!

Is there a statute of limitations on how quickly you have to blog something before it is "stale"?

NOT ON THIS BLOG.  Back in November I entered a card-draft on "The Diamond King" and Kevin sent me a bunch of good stuff.

Here was the reason I bought in:

2003 UD Patch Collection #128 - Seneca Wallace
This is my first Seneca patch (well, manupatch)....the scanner couldn't figure out where to focus, so the face just looks like a mess, but it's pretty neat.
We've got Craig Biggio in Airline Miles form....

1998 Dugout Axcess Frequent Flyer - FF6 - Craig Biggio
This is a slabbed, uncirculated Cadillac Williams relic from Topps Pristine.  It's #/100.

2005 Topps Pristine - Uncirculated #113 - #038/100 - Cadillac Williams

In one of the bonus rounds I picked up these old Lakers.

Funny Thing is, they put the guy who plays Murdock onto their card.  I wonder why they have an actor on there.

The rest of this stuff is FOR TRADE.  If any of it interests you, please let me know.

The Listia Hall of Fame

Listia is a good place to get rid of stuff you don't need and pick up stuff you do.  I picked up this card on there recently.  It obviously fits in well to my Iowa State collection, and is an on-card auto, which is very cool.  But who was the seller?  None other than noted blogger and Seneca super-collector "SpastikMooss" of the Great Sports Name Hall of Fame blog!!  We've dealt with each other before, so it was nice to give him a little business and hook him up with some credits (not that he needs any more :-)).

Sewing Machine Guy HOOKED ME UP - Football Style

Not the "REAL" Sewing Machine Guy....
Late last year I responded to the Want-List of the Sewing Machine Guy and sent him a Jason Castro along with a miscellaneous stack of Tigers, Lions, and Pistons.  I sent about 2-3 team bags worth of stuff to him.

So then I got a package back from him.  It was a BOX with six team bags worth coming back to me.  He hooked me UP!

It's too much stuff for one post, so I'm just posting the football here.  SMG paid very close attention to my want-lists (on the right ------->).

He started off by showing me some Kurt Warner love:
2006 Score, 2006 Topps, 2006 Heritage Kurt Warner
Then TEEEEEEEEEEEEEBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!  That Topps Magic set is sweet.

2010 Upper Deck, 2010 Topps Magic, 2010 Topps 52 Insert Tim Tebow
A couple of Iowa State alums...
2008 Topps Sage Rosenfels #29 and 2007 Topps Seneca Wallace #40

Men of the Foot!

Chip Lohmiller, Neil Rackers, Matt Bahr, Sebastian Janikowski

And 3 (ex-) coaches...The Mike Smith card is way thick.
Tony Sparano, Mike Smith, John Madden
These were exceptional, SMG.  I am SOOO happy.  There's still a huge stack of baseball to post....but those will have to wait until tomorrow.
